DESCRIPTION The Filtro is a nod to the simplest way of brewing coffee in many Indian homes — the humble sieve. Made from food-grade stainless steel, it’s easy to use and gives you a clean, sediment-free cup, every single time.

How to Use

RECIPE Every good brew deserves a good track — and for this one, we’re going with Indian Summer by Anoushka Shankar to set the mood.

Scoop 14g of coarsely ground coffee into your cup — Wanderoo if you're after something medium and caramely, or Chukki for a bold, darker hit. Heat your water to just off the boil (92–94°C), and pour in 140ml.

Let it brew for 4 minutes as the song flows. When it’s nearly done, give the coffee a gentle stir and pour it through the Filtro. That’s it — rich, no-fuss filter coffee in a cup.

Note: We follow a 1:10 ratio, but feel free to adjust to your taste.

CARE You can rinse, hand wash with soap, or place the Filtro in the dishwasher.

The Filtro is a reusable stainless-steel strainer designed to make filter coffee at home easily—particularly suited to eliminate the need for disposable paper filters.

What kind of coffee ground should I use with the Filtro? -

Use a coarse coffee grind—roughly the texture of sea salt—for optimal flow and minimal clogging. The Filtro was specifically built for this grind size to ensure a balanced extraction and smooth brew
