We’re writing to you today with full hearts and some very happy news — Black Baza Coffee Co. has won the Specialty Coffee Association’s 2025 Sustainability Award!
We’re the first and only organisation from India to receive this recognition, and it truly feels like a collective win — for the 650+ smallholder producers we work with, for the community-led systems they’ve built, and for the biodiverse ecosystems they continue to protect.

When we began this journey back in 2016, we set out to prove that an alternative was possible—that producers could lead, that markets could value biodiversity, and that supply chains could be fair by design. Winning this award is powerful affirmation that we’re on the right path.
